The clock is all plastic but the build quality and design both seem fine to me. The 37W x 13.5H cm, 877 g clock is nice and simple to use with a large, bright, clear non backlit LCD front panel display, and a range of big well marked buttons along the top to set the time, date and alarm settings. The clock can be wall mounted using the handy template kit supplied and has is self supporting for desktop use The clock functions as both a clock and alarm clock with a snooze feature is available for heavy sleepers. It features three separate alarm modes - everyday, weekdays and weekends only. The clock has features such as 12/24 hour formats, automatic daylight saving mode, along with date and temperature display, all of which can be set on the large top control panel which can be accessed even when the clock is wall mounted. Perhaps the main feature of this clock is the lack of trailing cables when wall mounted, and in fact, this is probably the largest battery powered wall clock I have yet tried.
