NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX Machine Learning Tutorials
Today we take a look at the al new NVIDIA $59 Supercomputer, the Jeston Nano 2G. Join us as we try and answer the question, will this be the Pi Killer? In this video lesson we learn how to navigate the Linux system from the terminal and command line. We show how to move, copy, delete and edit files. By the end of these step-by-step instructions you should be comfortable with basic linux commands. #JetsonNano2G #AI #NVIDIA
In this video lesson we learn how to train our program to recognize faces. We automate the training process to make it practical to easily train on large data sets. We use the face recognition library and dlib. We use pickle to store the training data, so the model does not have to be trained each time the recognition program is run. Here is the bracket/servo system, I suggest two sets. https://amzn.to/2YtWCTy Also I am suggesting two raspberry pi camera, version 2. I like the units below because they include the long cable. https://amzn.to/31iu5Cp This camera also has a cool little acrylic case, which is nice. In this video lesson we learn how to track two objects of interest in OpenCV using two servo controlled pan tilt brackets with Raspberry Pi cameras attached. We track based on the HSV color space, and run a simple PID controller to move the servos such that the object of interest stays in the center of the field of view. In this lesson we independently track two different objects. The left camera tracks a pen of one color and the right camera tracks a pen of another color. In this video lesson we learn how to control servos on the Jetson Xavier NX using a PCA9685 Servo control board. We show how to connect and wire up the system, how to download and install the libraries, and then how to program the servos to do what we want. Our objective is to control a pan/tilt camera mount for the Raspberry Pi camera. Remember it is best practice to not power the servos from your single board computer. You should use a battery or power supply for the v+/ground header on the PCA9685 board. The Jetson just powers the board through Vcc. if you want to play along at home you can get the gear HERE: Here is the bracket/servo system, I suggest two sets. https://amzn.to/2YtWCTy You will also need a simple power supply to provide power to the servos. In this video lesson we learn how to improve image quality and picture quality on the Raspberry Pi camera using Gstreamer in OpenCV. We will tweak our Gstreamer parameters to greatly improve video quality. We will be working in OpenCV and will use Gstreamer. We are running python under Visual Studio Code, (code-oss) . This series of lessons is designed for the absolute beginner, and we take you through things step-by-step. These tutorials will start with setup and boot, and then in future lessons we will teach you Machine Learning, Deep Neural Networks, and Deep Learning. We will be developing lots of projects and examples on this platform. This lesson will also run on the NVIDIA Jetson Nano. OK, now this is the gear I am using for my Jetson Xavier NX . Lots of folks have expressed interest in this project, so I will do a big tutorial series on it. It is good if we use identical hardware for the project, so links below will take you to the gear I am using. Make sure to get the V2 picam, which is what I linked to. The earlier picams will not work. Also, you can use USB keyboard and mouse if you do not want to spend for the wireless ones below. In this video lesson we learn how to set up the NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX to use a Raspberry Pi Camera or a WEB camera.
