One Pot Linguine
2 years agoI'm not even going to waste your time about how I came about this recipe except the fact that ** I WAS HUNGRY **
I hope you can math because all you need to do is multiply the amount I have by the amount you'll need in servings. The base serving is two so if you want to have enough for 6 people you multiply it by 4.
#INGREDIENTS:
- Mild Italian Sausage UNCASED ==300g=
- Fresh Linguine ==230g=
- Baby Heirloom Tomatoes ==115g==
- Basil ==7g== - in my recipe I dead ass only put it as garnish but usually I put some in the sauce too
- Garlic ==LOTS OF IT==
- Italian Herb spice blend ==1tbsp==
- Zucchini ==200g=
- Parmesan and butter ==1/4cup== and ==2 tbsp==
- Crushed tomatoes ==200ml==
#STEPS:
- Prep your ingredients by cutting those tomatoes in half, quartering the zucchini (or halves), and dicing the garlic.
- In a pot - set it to medium to high heat let it get hot then add 1 - 2 tbsp of oil and let that shit get ==HOT==
- When pot is hot enough, add in your ==sausage== and make sure that it's all at least a color of brown - if you wanted to you can cook it completely - Usually takes about 4 - 6 minutes.
- Reduce heat to medium and add in your ==Zucchini== then season it with salt and pepper to taste. ==You're not salting pasta so make sure you put enough salt==
- Add your ==garlic and the Italian herbs== once the ==Zucchini is tender== - occasionally mix so you don't burn anything.
- Add ==1 1/2 cups of water and the crushed tomatoes== - stir and combine, make sure you scrape up any of the sausage that might be stuck at the bottom of the pan.
- Once boiling you can reduce the heat and then add the ==baby heirloom tomatoes and the linguine.==
- Cook until you're happy with the linguine - it should be tender but still firm to the bite-.
- Add a ==tbsp or two of butter== and some ==Parmesan==
- PLATE, SERVE, EAT
