My Summer Car 2019 edition

After over a year and several updates, it was decided to try a new save from scratch in MSC. In this episode there will be an introduction to the game, the story, and also some basic requirements of the game. An inventory check will be made including making a list of what we need. Then a trip to Teimo and back is on the to-do-list, of course including some serious shopping for basic supplies. (originally published 26.3.2019)

After fueling up and doing some additional shopping, there is a short encounter with the village's badasses at Teimo's shop. When that is solved, we finally can start to make our way home . That trip will be quite nerve wrecking though, since the character's vital metres will suddenly turn red... (originally published 31.3.2019)

Since our customer asked us to deliver the load of firewood we prepared, the tractor will have a little trip today. After delivering the wood, we could drive to Teimo to fuel up. (originally published 31.03.2019)

After refreshing a little bit, we will continue to assemble the front chassis. This includes some parts of the breaks and the steering. Also the fuel tank will be installed and some other parts will be added in the engine room. (originally published 30.03.2019)

After it seems, that the installation of the parts to the front chassis is too frustrating, our character (after some self-maintenance) starts to prepare some firewood for the customer. So the tractor is guided to the shed, where the action takes place! (originally published 30.03.2019)

In order to be able to install the wheels, the suspension has to be installed first. The installation of the chassis parts at the back will be finished and also the back wheels will be installed. At the same time a lot of customers call with work orders. (originally published 29.03.2019)

After fueling up at Teimo's and getting a fire extinguisher, it is time to finally get the wheels. A second trip to the abandoned cottage is next on the to-do-list. After getting them, we can finally bring them home. (originally published 29.03.2019)

Since we are on the cottage, we could look if there is any fish available in the trap. After that, we have to figure out how to prepare it. Not very successfully it seems though... Delivering the fish to grandma is another problem - what to do and when and where will be again a matter of trial and error. Instead of going home, Teimo is the next stop on the list. This time everything does not go as planned. When trying to get the wheels, the first attempt has to be aborted, due to the mistake of not checking the metres of the character. The second attempt already brings us to the location, but the attempt has to be aborted again due to general failure. Out of frustration, our character makes his way home and drives with the boat to the cottage again. (originally published 28.3.2019)

In this episode, we will visit the cottage (i.e. "mökki" in finnish) by boat. There our character will get the bucket for the kilju, make some firewood, and the fish trap is put in place to catch some fish. After coming back home, some missing auxiliary-parts are installed to the engine. (originally published 28.03.2019)

Slowly the engine takes shape with a lot of trial and error. Among other things, the clutch and other auxiliary engine parts find their place. (originally published 27.03.2019)

After attaching more auxiliaries to the engine, it is time to install parts to the chassis, with focus on the suspension parts of the car. Again, the "trial and error"-method is applied. But before that, it will get it's final color. (originally published 27.03.2019)

After unpacking the goods we bought at Teimo's last episode, building the Engine starts. The project advances better than planned. Also the first orders for sewage jobs arrive. (originally published 26.3.2019)
