Handgun Reviews
Howdy Folks! The G48 is a 9mm handgun made for concealed carry. (I can't do that in Canada) It is a slimmer version of the G19 which restricts the magazines you can use on this handgun. Its very light and I had a great time shooting it.
The Crossman Repeatair 1008 is a CO2 powered .177 pellet gun. I think it's getting banned by the Canadian Liberal government and that's silly.
With C21 and the incoming handgun ban (freeze), many RPAL owners are looking to get in before the lock and buy their first handgun. But with scant availability and unknown timelines, what would be the best single handgun to own in Canada? The Norinco CF98 (sometimes called the EMEI CF98-9) is a 9mm, semi automatic pistol made in China. It’s a 9mm export version of their QSZ-92. It’s rotating barrel, hammer fired, with a decocker/safety combo, and it uses a detachable steel frame inside the grip kinda like the Sig P320 does. And most importantly, they’re like $250. What if you took the Ruger Single Six, made it cheaper and made it in 22LR? Well, you’d get the Ruger Wrangler. The Ruger Wrangler is an inexpensive 6-shot, single-action, 22LR revolver made in the US. Is it any good? The Ruger Wrangler goes for around $180 to $250 in the US, while it goes for $250-350 in Canada. The Zastava P10 is a Yugoslavian (or Serbian?) made pistol. After many other countries stopped making the Tokarevs, Serbia kept making them: making the long grip Zastava M57, and other variants including this beast. The P10 is a 10mm Tokarev, made in the 90’s (this one’s from 1996) using the same grip length as the M57. In Canada, these are the cheapest 10mm handguns you can currently buy. Wolverine Supplies asked if I wanted to try one out and sent me this one as a loaner. 00:00 Intro 00:56 Detail view 03:00 Fun stuff 04:17 Shooting footage 05:05 Compatibility and summary Full article here: https://www.huntinggearguy.com/handguns/zastava-p10-10mm-tokarev/

I've only listed centerfire, 9mm pistols below. 22 handguns are great as well; you should get one, but I won't cover them here. There are a pile of videos on these police surplus Beretta 92S pistols, so I thought I'd do a fairly quick video talking about what they compete with and why you should or shouldn't buy one. A classic match up between the Beretta 92 and the Sig P226. But in a comparison between the two, which is better? Let's find out together!
I review Norinco's Sig P226 and P228 clones. These $300 handguns are cheap and cheerful pistols with the design of yesteryear. There are no videos out there on disassembling the Montenegro made Tara TM-9, so here it is. As I disassembled it, I found some interesting things like: Glock gen3 recoil springs and guide rods work, Glock firing pin springs fit, and the connector may fit as well (but I didn't try that one out). The Zastava M57 is a Serbian/Yugoslavian made version of the TT33 Tokarev. It has a bit of a taller grip, 1 more round in the extended mag, and a magazine disconnect, though mine is disabled. The BRS99 is a cool little firearm, and once you've watched this video, you'll see how easy it is to disassemble and reassemble.
