For anyone having trouble getting 1080p resolution to work on their Logitech c920 Pro HD webcam. If you're using your webcam through a USB hub, try unplugging it and plugging it either directly into your computer or into another USB hub. Just wanted to make a quick video showing you how you can rename all of your photos in your Google Pixel 4XL. One of the big issues I've found with this phone is that the naming convention for images and videos is different from any other phone I've had, and there's no way to change this naming convention with the native software on the phone (Google Photos). I've found a very handy app called "Bulk Rename & Group" which allows you to rename all of your photos at once. I keep backups of my photos on my computer in the format of YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS. Had some trouble recently with my MXL 770 XLR microphone. Whenever I tried to record, I would get a constant humming noise. It turned out to be a grounding issue with the mic itself. This is my first video of me playing Minecraft. It's not a game that I play very often, but I thought it'd be worth a shot uploading a video showcasing what I've got built in my world so far. Recently, Google's Gmail app had stopped sending me notifications about new emails. I would have to open the app and refresh to see what messages I'd received. It turns out there was a setting that had been changed recently. You have to go into Manage Labels and make sure that you are getting notifications for every message you receive. Hopefully this will help you out. In this video, I talk about the important role that skepticism plays in my position as an atheist. I came to be an atheist because of my skepticism. Now, if my skepticism had lead me to another path, such as Christianity, Islam, or Hinduism, I would have been equally satisfied. It's not about the conclusion. It's about how that conclusion was reached. Adherence to strong scientific evidence and holding those standards of proof to everything in life - especially when assessing claims that one finds emotionally satisfying and reassuring. This is part 2 of my continuing stream of Skyrim, The Elder Scrolls V. Apparently, there were some sound issues at first, but I eventually got them worked out. There's also some lag issues that I didn't have with my first episode. I'm hoping to have all of that worked out by my next broadcast, as well. In this episode, I battled the dragon at the Whiterun Watchtower and learned my first shout - Unrelenting Force. Once learned, I was then summoned by the Greybeards. I was then on my journey to meet with them. I reached the bottom of the mountain where The Seven Thousand Steps journey begins. So, apparently, no one is safe from the "Adpocalypse." I opened up my video manager yesterday and found that I had 2 of my videos demonetized, or had "limited" ads because they're not "advertiser friendly." For the most part, my videos are pretty tame, and I don't expect many of my videos to be demonetized. So, this is the second installment of "TheSkepticalAtheist Draws." The title of this one is "Rock Sun Fly Guy." I ended up using some color in this picture - something I'm not very good at doing. Definitely not one of my best drawings to date, but it was interesting playing around with shading and adding color. I'm far from a decent artist, and as I've said at the outset of this series, this is all just for fun. I don't know where these ideas for drawings come from. They just pop out of my brain while I listen to the music. I let the lines carry me wherever they want to go. I think my favorite part of this picture is the "rock sun" that I spent a lot of time shading. It's really helpful being able to rotate the canvas like you would a piece of paper. It's very uncomfortable rotating the drawing tablet. You'll also notice that, along with the instrumental, I tell a story in this video about Automatic Writing (psychography) - a paranormal/psychic phenomenon similar to using a Ouija board, accomplished using a pen and paper. As I said at the beginning of this story, I'd debated even posting it. I was concerned that people would interpret it as an endorsement of paranormal phenomena. That is not what the story is about at all. It's about faulty reasoning, and realizing how and why people can become convinced of paranormal phenomena through faulty reasoning, namely confirmation bias. Initially, I was going to make a completely separate video for that story, but I finally decided that I would integrate it in with this iteration of "TSA Draws." After I had the script written, I really didn't know what I was going to do as far as video material. I didn't want to just make a typical slideshow type of video with pictures I found on the Internet dealing with what I was talking about. I though it would fit nicely in the background of this drawing video. The most important thing I wanted to stress with this story is that it's very easy, through faulty reasoning, to convince yourself of things which may not be true, either because you really want them to be true, or through confirmation bias, etc. Also, also, I made all of the background music in this video. Same as my last drawing video. So, I'm trying out a new series here on my channel - "TheSkepticalAtheist Draws." I'm basically just sitting down and doing random sketches. I don't have anything planned out. I just start drawing and see what I come up with. I guess I'm approaching it kind of like a sculptor would with a piece of marble. As I go along, I add things, and sometimes I take things away and the drawing just sort of morphs into its own creation. It's really a form of meditation for me. I can just concentrate on the lines I'm drawing and let them take me where they will. This particular one turned out to be quite interesting. It appears to be a guy with a teapot for a head, and this weird sort of creature emerging from an eyeball floating out in space. Also, as far as the music goes, I wrote that after doing the drawing. I tried to make something that was fitting to listen to as you watch this picture being created. I have an Akai MPC Renaissance and an M-Audio Keystation 88 that I used to make the song, in case anyone is interested in knowing that particular bit of info.
