Advken Mad Hatter RTA Today we have an out of the box review of the Advken Mad Hatter RTA. The Mad Hatter has been sat here for weeks waiting to get tested, as you can see it didn't. The Advken Mad Hatter is a 24mm single coil RTA. Made from Stainless steel and Aluminium, a strange combo as the expansion rates of these metals are very different. The Mad Hatter deck show under and side coil airflow that gives good flavour the only problem for me was its 2ml capacity as it means filling it evey 5 mins. I didn't see the point of gold plated grub screws but they have good threads and grip the coil fine, just remember to check they are screwed right down. Sorry about the audio I was trying a new mic and camera out. All in all its easy to build and wick but flavour is average. Today we have an out of the box stock coil tank, very rare do I review a stock coil tank that not part of a kit I'm reviewing, so here we go with the Vaporesso iTank. The Vaporesso iTank is a 24.5mm stock coil tank that take the Vaporesso GTI coils. In the box you get the iTank with the 0.2 ohm coil fitted, spare 0.4 ohm coil, spare glass, o-rings and replacement fill grommet. The tank can be broken down for cleaning but removing the glass for the first time is difficult with dry o-rings. It's a top fill tank with the Smok TFV4/8 type sliding top (not my favourite type). The tank comes in size 8ml, 5ml and TPD compliant 2ml. The GTI coils that come with this tank seem to have improved from the last ones I tried and the flavour produced seems a lot better. The triple AFC works just fine and it's not a noisy tank even wide open. Here as with other stock coil tanks its the coil that makes the tank so to speak and these mesh GTI coils really bang the flavour out at the best wattage. Hitting the 0.2 coil at 70W is as good as if not better than most stock coil tanks. All in all a very good stock coil tank with a very good mesh coil. Today we take a look at the new Wotofo & Mike Vapes Recurve V2 RDA. The Wotofo Recurve V2 RDA is a 24.6mm RDA a bit of an odd size being between 24 and 25mm. The Recurve can be single or dual coil but in single coil the afc is still dual. Wotofo provide everything as normal to get you started with this RDA including a 5mm inner diameter coil and cotton to fit but for a meir mortal like me I chose to go with a dual 3mm inner diameter coils and the squonk pin. If you build it for dripping you will have to part the cotton a little to help juice down in to the well. This is not a perfect RDA to me as the afc had no knurling making it near impossible for me to move with my dexterity problems, the bottom o-ring tolerance just isn't there. As for building, Wotofo and Mike vapes have made this postless deck as easy as it can get to give great flavour. The two peek inner caps reduce the chamber that helps with the flavour you get from the RDA. The deck could have done with an hole in the center to help get the e-liquid down to the well in my opinion. This is a very affordable RDA and I'm sure we all have spare o-rings that will fit better than those that come with it. All in all a very good RDA with a couple of problems. Apologies for the audio I forgot to unmute the main Mic so its audio from the camera's Today we take a look at the Wotofo Gear V2. The Wotofo Gear V2 is a 24mm single coil RTA with fixed airflow. Made of stainless steel and PCTG plastic. This DL tank was better than I thought it would be having a fixed airflow. The flavour is really good considering the amount of airflow you get when taking a draw. It easy to build and the flat head screws are a good size, The coil placement is notched to hold to coil wire while fastening down. Filling the 3.5ml RTA is easy when you remember to unscrew using the fixed non replaceable drip tip. This RTA shouldn't be written off as it preform's really well for an open direct to lung tank. Priced in the UK from £20 to £25 it's worth a look for you cloud chukers. All in all I'm glad I didn't write this one off as I am really enjoying the vape I get from this RTA. Today we take a look at the dual airflow, dual coil Hellvape Helheim RDTA. The Hellvape Helheim is a 25mm, 51mm tall RDTA. Made of Stainless Steel it comes in 5 colours if you include the SS. The Helheim has under coil and side airflow that give you a lot of choice to dial it in to just how you like it to be. This 4.5ml tank also comes with a squonk pin, yes I said a squonk pin making this a very versatile RDTA. It has a standard goon style 810 meaning you can swap it out for your favourite drip tip. The top third can be removed so you can inspect your coils and cotton, plus its the side airflow. The layout of the deck makes this a very easy tank to coil and wick. 3mm ID coils with 5mm legs worked really well for me with a combination of the under coil airflow wide open and the side airflow with two slots open in the honeycomb style side afc. The flavour with good coils in is up there with the best of them as is the fit and finish. Priced around £25 in the UK this is well worth looking at. All in all a great RDTA, good flavour, versatile airflow, easy to build and won't break the bank, what more could you want. would I recommend it, hell yes. Today we take a look at an RDA I've had sitting around for months but never got round to doing a review till now, I'm talking about the Hellvape Dead Rabbit 3, it's still very relevant as you will find it online. The Hellvape Dead Rabbit is a 24mm dual coil RDA. The dead Rabbit has a good choice of airflow with both honeycomb and cyclops style airflow. Personally I would have liked to see the cyclops airflow stepped for more choice. This Dead Rabbit has rounded post which i feel are better as e-liquid has nowhere to sit like the old flat top post. The cyclops airflow wide open is all air and very little flavour but would suit the cloud chuckers among you. For me personally the honeycomb cut down to 3 or 4 rows gives the best flavour as long as you adjust the barrel so the air hits the middle of the coil. The fit and finish to this RDA are second to none, the post screws seemed a little harder metal than we have been getting of late. This is a very easy RDA to build and there's lots of scope for moving the coils to where you like. Today we take a look at the Hellvape dead Rabbit Max RDA. The Hellvape Dead Rabbit Max RDA is a 28mm RDA. It has those rounded posts that we have seen over the last few versions that don't hold e-liquid on the top like the original. The Max RDA has a goon style drip tip so giving you plenty of choice if you want to change it with your favourite 810 drip tips. Flat headed screws on the post to hold your choice of coils. The AFC is on the outer barrel and is stopped, the o-rings are snug on this RDA. The outer barrel can be removed for cleaning and when fitted just looks like one solid barrel showing just how good the fit and finish is on this RDA. The whole barrel can move to give you some wiggle room to line up the coils after changing the airflow. The Max has a nice deep juice well. Has a gold plated 510 pin and also comes with a gold plated squonk 510. Being the Dead Rabbit deck this is an easy to build RDA but the one thing I don't like much about is the AFC, it looks good as its the eyes of the dead rabbit but in practice I found it hard to get the airflow I wanted. I feel the Dead Rabbit Max RDA is more suited to a series build and the cloud chuckers out there. Full open its very airy but still gives flavour, turning the afc down I struggled to get the vape I wanted. This one you guys will have to experiment with coil choice and afc placement. So my enthusiasm got the best of me today and after a few toots on this I had to do an out of the box, so off I toddled to the kitchen to clean out the one I was using. So what am I talking about? Well it's the new Oumier Wasp Nano RDA V2. The Oumier Wasp Nano V2 is a 24mm stainless steel RDA with the dead rabbit style deck. It can be single or dual coiled, comes with a squonk pin and everything you need to get you started. It's a three piece assembly with a deck, airflow cap and top cap. It's easy to build on and I have seen Oumier's own video showing it with three coils. Flavour as with the original is bang on but please remember this is an out of the box review so do try different coils and placements. I used a round wire dual build and found I had to take the airflow right down to get the flavour I wanted making it a little restricted. I found on the single coil with half open airflow was bang on for flavour. My first impressions of the new Wasp Nano? I love it and cant wait to put some good coils in and have a play. Today we take a look at the Oxva Arbiter Solo RTA. The Oxva Arbiter Solo RTA is a single coil RTA. I recommend 2.5mm coils not 3mm as I use in the review. The Solo has a mechanism so you can change from MTL to RDL. If you have dexterity problems then this is not the tank for you. This tank to me was massively over hyped, its fiddly, coils are wrapped opposite to many commercial coils you will purchase. You have to clip the coil legs flush as even if a tiny bit to long you won't be able to screw the tank together and if you did it would have a short. The edge of the barrel is far too close to the deck even half a mill would at least give you a bit of room for safety. All in all over hyped, not good for anyone with dexterity problems, coils wrapped opposite to commercial coils and the flavour is average. Today we have an RDA release around 11 months ago that's hit the bargain bins online. I'm talking about the Hellvape Hellbeast RDA. The Hellvape Hellbeast is a 24mm RDA and can be single or dual coil. No matter which way your coils are wrapped you can fit them in to this simple deck by cutting the legs to the length suggested in the literature. The AFC has more options with it's 72 1.2mm holes that no one should be disappointed. You can get the RDA in a range of colours. The RDA is very easy to coil and wick even for someone new to rebuildable decks. The flavour from this RDA is very good, the fit and finish is second to none. At the time of upload you can get this RDA for less than £20 or if you really use your google-fu you can find it for under £13. All in all a very good RDA all round and worth the money.
