Tourist Detour
Medi often wants to check out places along his journey. This series focuses on those off-shoot adventures not part of the waterfaller series
This is a beautiful day out by Priest Lake. Medí rides along on the road with (Aunt) Cathy and has a pretty good time sight seeing. Enjoy the adventure and be inspired to come out to see this lake. Medí is on a quest to find all of life's treasures. Do not worry about tomorrow because every day has its own worries. Be free to walk the earth and explore the beauty in the outdoors. Sometimes you don't have to even get out of your car to enjoy the scene. Be encouraged to step away from whatever is holding you captive. Having joy is a choice, but it is also a gift from God. We all have life in us; will we choose to dwell in life or will we be captives of the world? Life testifies of life and all who seek to live by listening to life's testimony will hear His words. If anyone is curious about how I make these videos, I'm thinking of posting an Instagram video about it. Let me know in the comments. If so, what is the best time of year to visit for the best weather and scene?
What a spectacular day it is with more lady bugs than Medí has ever seen in his life! Take part of this adventure in the northern United States in the state of Idaho. Medí sets way with Auntie KK to meet up with his cousins for wild adventure rides better than disneyland's indiana jones. Medí is on a wild summer vacation but contacts snow unexpectedly, jokingly saying he won't be there for long. He finds himself at a bar looking at a waterfall with a couple of local gentlemen drinking a beer. Background tracks composed by Heyden Gary in Timestamps. Medí heads East to Spokane Washington to see Aunt Cathy. They explore the heart of downtown Spokane: Riverfront Park. Delighted by the grown-up playground, Medí jogs down an unreasonable deadend path, beats on an outdoor instrument, amuses himself with people swinging by on the gondolas, and learns something about the Bloomsday run in May when he encounters otherworldly runner sculptures. As evening sets in, the surrounding city architecture is a gaze to see. Night lights are a real sight from the city hills. Medí has been on an adventure finding many waterfalls to see all over. There's nothing like seeing a waterfall where you least expect it. The water in the Spokane River is gloriously beautiful from above on the Monroe bridge. The dam and the rapid falls make quite a nice scene. The area is perfect for beautiful walks right in the center of the city. A new bridge is going up with sights of the upper rapid falls. This part of Spokane River at the heart of the metropolis had been a place of gathering belonging to native Americans. The sheer beauty here is astounding. Heading up to Washington. Making a final stop to check out an area said to be Cushing Falls. This is a man-made terrain, with so much graffiti on bridge pillar walls. Crossing over the Colombia into a lava rock landscape is reminiscent of a grand canyon. The wind blows east. The road ahead is dark. Tonight is a night alone. We are both on this journey. Nighttime is settling in. There's a fall to see ahead. Intro, Outro, and background tracks composed by Heyden Gary in Timestamps. Medí rides the Bike from Indian to Bird Point along the coast trail south of Anchorage Alaska. He's not out doing any professional stunts, but is just out on the bike path having a great time! The temp is around 62⁰F and it is just perfect for biking into the soft breeze by the Inlet. Uncle Marc and Medí take turns passing each other along the way, make a quick stop with Pheng and family for water and snacks. Deciding not to head all the way to Girdwood, they head back to Indian at Bird Point. The way back is a delight to Medí as the clouds above send down light sprinkle rain. Medí rejoices and finds a great opportunity to share a joy filled melody and share about how he hasn't felt depressed for the past 12 years. Waterfaller finds passage through the ice cold water barefoot to catch a glimpse and taste of Byron Glacier for probably the last time before it disappears for good. Now in Alaska for the remainder of the 2020 summer, I'm out exploring glaciers and enjoying perfect days. Mom sent me a picture of the weather forecast near sacramento this past week hitting highs of 114⁰, so I'm so grateful I'm nowhere near my California residence, and can enjoy the perfect summer season in the last frontier.
Went for a mid week camping trip at Tolsona, AK near Glennallen. Stoped in Glacier View to peek at the glacier and went for a nice forrest hike with river discovery.
Came down from Anchorage Alaska with Aunt Susan and Uncle Marc to see the fresh catch during Salmon Season in Seward. 👍🏼
