We’re are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to work seamlessly across framework boundaries and product lines to boost the discovery of live and on demand video entertainment experiences on the Internet. What you’ll be doing
- Design, build, and maintain performant, responsive, and delightful experiences
- Embrace and champion engineering best practices within your group and Playeur
- Produce clean, high-quality code, and tests
- Engage actively in code and design reviews with peers and partners
- Contribute engineering input and feedback into product planning processes
- Integrating our front-end UI with the constructed API
- Design and construction of our REST API
- “Pixel-perfect” implementation of our approved user interface
- Partner with fellow engineering teams to deliver on complex initiatives together
What you should have
- 3+ years of experience writing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Being up on latest practices is a must, e.g., HTML5, CSS3, and ECMAScript 6
- 3+ years experience with a relevant back-end programming language ( e.g., PHP, Python, Ruby or JavaScript )
- 3+ year experience with Database design and management, including being up on the latest practices and associated versions
- 3+ year server management and deployment for the relevant environment
- Familiarity with a relevant and globally supported framework—both front-end and back-end, if necessary (e.g. Nuxt, Vue, or Laravel)
- Proficiency with Javascript, HTML, CSS, Vue.js, Nuxt.js, Vuex, and Axios
- Thorough understanding of user experience and possibly even product strategy
- Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests
- Ability to apply quantitative reasoning and UX design principles to building applications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Bonus Points
- Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience in product engineering
