There is no doubt that most Jedi Padawans are child soldiers. A Few Padawans are over 18 years of age so we can’t say all, but most padawans, especially the padawans we get stories of are under 18 and as such would still be minors, assuming that 18 is the age of maturity for most species in Star wars, which I believe to be a safe assumption. In canon, we have three Jedi padawans where the story explicitly depicts them as child soldiers: Ahsoka, Cal, and Caleb. Happy Valentines Day, I though in the spirit of the day I would talk about Jedi relationships and explain why the Jedi Order shuns attachments and speculate on whether they have taken the correct course of action.

The New Republic from Star Wars has a problem. It is a Government Founded by Rebels, founded on principles of democracy, freedom, and cooperation, but allows former Imperials, former anti-democratic authoritarians, to be in government often in both elected and appointed positions with influence and, even adopts some things from the Empire. But the problem that I want to address is not the threat to democracy from within, but the problem they have regarding Civilian Control of the Military.
